Core services

This document describes core services (or director infrastructure) of the system.

Director infrastructure is a collective term for physical infrastructure and resources needed for hosting core services of the system.

Core services are services that maintain the system itself and provide system capabilities to users via Frontend and nodes (see Target infrastructure).
